Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is a closed cell, chemically cross linked, (and non-cross linked) foams, made from ethyl vinyl acetate copolymers. It is made in block (bun) form, or extruded. It is available in a range of densities (molecular weights) and hardnesses.

Future Foams supplies two densities of EVA sheets, 45 kg or 90 kg.

Sheet sizes are 2400 x 1200 mm and is available in various thicknesses

EVA’s tend to be good thermal insulators, excellent shock absorbing materials, and resistant to attack from chemicals and fuel based products. Their closed cell structure makes them impervious to water.

They are used in applications such as camping mats, yoga blocksboat fenders and high impact seating requiring a water proof product.
